The Department of Dermatology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is seeking an academically-oriented pediatric dermatologist to join its growing faculty.

Temple's Department of Dermatology offers patients with all types of skin conditions some of the latest medical and surgical treatment options, as well as the opportunity to enroll in therapeutic clinical trials. Our dermatologists are leaders in the field and are committed to increasing our understanding of dermatologic diseases through innovative research.

Our dermatologic researchers are highly engaged in translational medicine—the process of turning scientific findings into new forms of diagnosis and treatment—with the goal of bringing new and better treatments to patients. The department is currently engaged in a variety of innovative clinical trials that may help advance understanding of many common and complex skin diseases, with the potential to uncover new treatments and therapies for a variety of conditions.

The Chair, Sylvia Hsu, M.D., is dedicated to building a strong academic practice and a high degree of interest in resident and medical student education is essential. Candidate must have completed an M.D. or M.D. /Ph.D. along with dermatology residency and a pediatric dermatology fellowship from ABD-accredited training programs. Board certifications (or BE) in dermatology and pediatric dermatology are also required.
